As part of the AWSCPA mission, we foster networking and mentoring with other successful women through local affiliates. Affiliate groups meet periodically offering a variety of activities: CPE, programs and speakers, networking activities, and social activities. CAN'T FIND AN AFFILIATE NEAR YOU?

Although there may not be an affiliate in your area, you can enjoy the benefits of membership in AWSCPA as a Member-at-Large.

Members-at-Large receive all of the benefits of membership, including: a national voice on issues concerning women CPAs; access to the "Members Only" area of the Web site (including the online membership directory and peer-support network, issues papers online, two e-mail discussion groups, the speakers bureau directory, and the AWSCPA marketplace); bimonthly newsletter; discounted rate for the Annual Leadership Conference; annual membership directory; and copies of issues papers as they are published.

INTERSTED IN STARTING AN AFFILIATE?

As part of the AWSCPA mission, we foster networking and mentoring with other successful women through local affiliates. Affiliate groups meet periodically offering a variety of activities: CPE, programs and speakers, networking activities, and social activities.

An application for the formation of an affiliated organization of AWSCPA may be made by ten or more regular members (as opposed to associate members or student friends) of the society located in a city or other territorial region. The application must include the proposed bylaws of the affiliate. Affiliates must be organized as not-for-profit corporations and must limit membership to members of AWSCPA. The affiliate bylaws must be consistent with National's bylaws with respect to membership requirements. A majority vote of the National Board of Directors is necessary to authorize the affiliate.
