AWSCPA is the Voice of Women CPA's
The American Woman's Society of Certified Public Accountants is the only organization devoted exlusively to the support and professional development of women CPAs.
AWSCPA is a strong networking and mentoring organization Members help each other by sending business to one another, helping each other attain jobs and professional appointments, and mentoring one another in their educational and career endeavors.
ASWCPA also develops leadership skills in members by giving them the opportunity to participate on committees and as board members.
Our local affiliate provides stimulating and innovative CPE at quarterly dinner meetings to help fulfill members continuing education requirements.

SCHOLARSHIP CORNER
Each year the South Florida Chapter awards two scholarships:
- A cash scholarship in honor of E. Jean Meyers
- A Becker CPA review Scholarship
We have a third scholarship: A cash scholarship in honor of Sandra Weiner.
Applicants
- Must attend a South Florida school.
- Must be a US citizen or permanent resident.
- Must be entering their 4th or 5th year of pursuing an accounting degree.
- Scholarship is awarded for academic excellence, tempered with professional or community involvement.
- Applications available each January for March 31st deadline.
